Privacy Policy
Effective June 7, 2026 · Last updated June 7, 2026
1. Who we are
CorvusCut (“CorvusCut”, “the Service”) is operated by Bailey Enterprises, LLC, a West Virginia limited liability company (“we”, “us”, “our”). The Service is an AI-assisted tool that edits user-supplied drone and video footage. You can reach us at hello@corvuscut.com.
The Service is currently in free, invite-only beta.
2. Information we collect
Account information (via Google Sign-In). When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, Google profile picture, and Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
Content you provide. Video files you upload and any video URLs you submit, plus the natural-language editing brief you write.
Content we generate. Analysis of your footage, edit decisions, rendered output videos, and any feedback or ratings you give on results.
Technical data. Server logs, IP address, and basic usage information needed to operate and secure the Service.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the Service — process your footage and return finished edits.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- To manage your beta account (approval, and to contact you about your account or the beta).
We do not sell your personal information or your video content.
4. Third-party processors
To produce an edit and operate the Service, CorvusCut sends parts of your content and account data to third-party AI and infrastructure providers. By using the Service you understand that:
- Anthropic — sampled video frames are sent for visual analysis, and edit briefs and metadata are processed to plan the edit. Privacy policy.
- OpenAI — when your footage contains speech, audio is sent for transcription. Privacy policy.
- Voyage AI (a MongoDB company) — short, non-content text (edit metadata) is sent to generate search embeddings. No video or personal identifiers are included in that text. Privacy policy.
- Google — provides sign-in and identity. Privacy policy.
- Hetzner Online GmbH — hosts the Service and stores your data on servers located in the European Union. Privacy policy.
- Resend — sends account and notification emails. Privacy policy.
Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
5. Data retention
- Uploaded source video and intermediate render files: kept for up to 30 days, then deleted automatically.
- Rendered output videos: kept for up to 30 days, then deleted automatically.
- Account information: kept while your account is active.
Deleting your account (see section 6) removes your account information and associated content, subject to any records we must keep by law.
6. Your choices and rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information and your content by emailing hello@corvuscut.com. We will delete your account and associated data on request, subject to any records we must keep by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data — for example under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because the Service is invite-only, we honor reasonable access, correction, and deletion requests regardless of your location; email us to exercise them.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and the Service is beta software — do not upload footage you cannot afford to lose or expose.
8. Eligibility
The Service is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to use it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated to active beta users at the email on their account.
